Leigh Acutt

With well over 25 years of event management experience working on a wide range of corporate events, Leigh set up LA Event Management in May 2017 and has never looked back. Her passion for Event Management is infectious, whether it’s bringing internal teams together;  client facing events or recognising top achievers at Award Ceremonies, nothing beats the impact of LIVE events.

The best part of her job is clear, getting to work with brilliant teams over a wide range of sectors and the elation of a brilliantly executed event, after all they can be extremely time consuming and costly, and that’s why Leigh strives for perfection and believes events should be anything but boring.  

Besides a passion for travel and being a part time yoga & aerobics instructor, Leigh loves a game of padel.  A lot of time is also taken up by a very high maintenance fur baby called Buddy, who literally rules the house.

Kirsten Springate

Kirsten has had many years in the retail homeware and apparel industry working in the merchandise planning field. This industry and role afforded her the opportunity to blend her financial qualifications and planning skills with her creative side and her passion for product. She completed her MBA in 2023, and is excited to employ her new skills and learning experiences to embark on a new venture in event management.

Being outdoors and exercising are her happy places. She loves her garden, body boarding, hiking, cycling and a good workout at the gym! She is a devoted family person and wonderful mother of three grown children

Karen Ehlers

Karen has vast experience in various administration, project and secretarial roles and assists the team with all aspects of admin and event support.   Karen also has a BA Communications degree to her name, and is a qualified personal trainer.  Being organised and super efficient makes her an invaluable member of the team.

Karen’s hobbies include enjoying walks in the gorgeous British countryside, watching travel programmes, jewellery making and spending time with her twin daughters. 

Thalia Kenton

With many years’ experience in event management both client and supplier-side, Thalia has worked for several recognisable and high-profile brands and companies across fashion retail, premium hospitality and the pharmaceutical industry.
 
She brings her talents of organisation, lateral thinking, communication and a sense of fun to our on-site event crew.

Thalia’s hobbies include skiing, scrabble, bridge, foraging and travel and she’s always got tickets for her next festival or gig!
